About the Designer

Cathleen Hudson, the primary of Cathleen Hudson Landscapes has been designing custom residential landscapes in Monterey Bay and San Francisco Bay since 1996. Her passion for gardening started in 1970 with ornamental horticultural classes at the College of San Mateo with Professor Alex Graham who inspired her with his passion. After raising her family and continuing to hone her gardening skills she returned to further her education in the horticulture industry with design and horticulture classes at Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz. After working two years in the retail nursery trade at Scarbourgh Gardens in Scotts Valley, CA she began designing gardens.
